We are Jonathan and Frankie, a couple of people attempting to cycle tour on Surly Disc Truckers. Hence the name of the blog! We are fortunate enough to be able to quit our jobs and head out travelling. We’ve chosen to go on bikes as we think it’s the right balance of speed and adventure!

We both have a Surly Disc Trucker. Jonathan has a boring black one which is 56cm with 700c wheels. Frankie has the exciting green one which is 46cm with 26” wheels.

They’re both built to be like stock but they have bar end shifters to improve reliability. The green one was technically used and has high quality hand built wheels and slightly different drop bars. The black one has stock wheels.
